What is homosexual relationship?

A homosexual relationship is a sexual or romantic relationship between people of the same sex. Homosexual or same-sex marriages refer to the institutionalized recognition of these relationships in marriage form. Civil unions might also exist in countries where same-sex marriages are not recognized.

Homosexual relationships are not strictly related to the participants’ sexual orientation.
