What is casual dating?

Casual dating is defined as a form of relationship between people who spend time together and go on dates in a more ongoing way with no expectations whatsoever of entering a committed long-term relationship. If you are casually dating someone, it often means that you like them just enough to regularly hang out with them but it is either you are not yet ready to enter a serious committed relationship or you don’t want to be in a serious relationship, whether it is just with that particular person or in general.
